About IBPS PO:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers, or in short, IBPS PO, is a national-level recruitment-oriented exam to secure a job as a Probationary Officer in a government-recognized bank. The exam has three levels, namely - Prelims, Main, and Interview round. The mode of exam is online for both prelims and main, however, the exam duration is one hour for prelims and three hours & thirty minutes for main.

IBPS PO Registration Process for 2025

Here’s a step-by-step guide for the IBPS PO 2025 registration process! 

Step 1: 

Go to the official IBPS PO website at https://www.ibps.in and navigate to the “CWE PO/MT” tab located on the left side of the screen. Click on it to open the page for registration details. 

Step 2: 

Next,  you have to click on the link that appears on the screen – “Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers”. 

Hereby, Once the new page opens for registration, hit the “Continue” button to start filling out your application. 

Step 3: 

Then, you have to provide all necessary information like Name, Phone Number, Email Address, and Security Code. Further, tap the “Save & Next” button. 

When done, a dialogue box shall pop up on the top of the screen. You must click the “OK” button that shows therein to get your registration number and password.     

Step 4: 

After getting your login credentials, use them to open your registration form and start filling out the other pertinent information, like nationality, age, gender, date of birth, category, last education qualification, centre preference, and so forth. 

Then, simply click on “Save & Next” to validate the details.    

Step 5:  

Now, you have to scan and upload documents such as identity proof, photograph, signature, degree certificate, category certificate (if applicable), etc. Make sure you upload them in the stipulated format and size. 

Step 6: 

On the next page, you need to choose your preferred banks, preview all details, and click on the checkbox stating “I Accept”. 

Step 7: 

The next step is to upload the requisite hand-written declaration and left-hand thumb impression, enter the designated Captcha, and click again on “Save & Next”.

A dialogue box shall appear again, where you have to hit “OK” to proceed to the last step.     

Step 8: 

Finally, you have to pay the fees for the IBPS PO exam via Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallet, Cash Cards, or other applicable modes.

Once your transaction is successful, the same shall be displayed on the screen, including the transaction number. Take a screenshot or download the receipt for further reference. That’s it!    

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria for 2025 

Nationality 

Candidate needs to be an Indian Citizen. Individuals of Indian Origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Burma, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and other East African Countries with the intent of permanent settling can also apply.     

Age Limit 

The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years.  However, age relaxations are applicable for OBCs, SCs, STs, PwDs, Jammu & Kashmir Domicile Candidates, those Affected by the 1984 Riots, and Ex-servicemen. 

Educational Qualification

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government of India
