Overview of HPSC Exam 2025
The Haryana Public Service Commission Exam, or HPSC exam, is a state-level competitive examination to recruit deserving candidates to various administrative roles within the Haryana Government. Also known as Haryana Civil Service Exam (HCS), HPSC exam is conducted in 3 stages, namely, the Prelims, the Mains, and the final interview round.
The HCS exam happens once every year and the HPSC board conducts this exam across various cities in Haryana. Although the official notification for the HCS or HPSC exam 2025 is yet to roll out, the eligibility criteria is likely to remain the same – age, nationality, and educational qualification.
1. You must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 42 years to be eligible for the HCS/HPSC exam 2025.
2. You must be a citizen of India, Bhutan, or Nepal.
3. You must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized government college.
4. For the HPSC Assistant Professor exam in specific, you must have a master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
5. For the HPSC PGT (Post-Graduate Teachers) exam, you must have a master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
