Educational Qualification: 

• You must have a Master’s degree in the specific subject you want to apply for the post of Assistant professor under HPSC, with at least 55% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% will be given to reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD).

• You must have qualified for UGC NET (University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test) or an equivalent recognised test. However, already having a PhD degree exempts you from the NET qualification requirement for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025. 

Age Limit: 

• To be eligible for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025, you must be 21 years of age minimum (as of 15th July 2024). 
• Your age should not exceed 42 years as of 15th July 2024, to be eligible for the upcoming HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025. 

Nationality: 

• You must be an Indian national to be eligible for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025. 
• Even if you belong to some other state in India, you stand eligible to apply for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025. However, certain reservation benefits apply to the domicile candidates of Haryana.  

Registration Process for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025

Here’s a step-by-step guide to register and apply for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of HPSC by clicking here. 

Step 2: Navigate to the registration portal for HPSC Assistant Professor Exam 2025 under the Advertisement section and click on “Apply Online”. 

Step 3: If registering for the first time, tap the “New Registration” button, and enter the requisite details, like your full name, phone number, email address, and date of birth to create your login credentials.  

Step 4: Once your user ID and password are created, you can log into the application form portal using them and start filling it out. Here, you have to enter your personal details, like nationality, age, residential address, father’s name, mother’s name, etc., along with educational qualification details and the specific subject you want to apply for. 

Step 5: Next, you have to upload the necessary documents as asked for, such as an educational certificate, passport-size photograph, signature, and reserved category certificate if applicable. Make sure you follow the format and size instructions to upload the documents.

• All Categories Female Candidates: Rs.250
• SC/ST/PwD/OBC-A/ OBC-B (Haryana) Candidates: Rs.250

• Medium of Exam: English, except for language papers

• Qualifying Marks: 50 % for General category candidates, 45% for SC/ST/ OBC-A/OBC-B (Haryana), and 40% for PwBD of Haryana

Interview/ Viva Round 

• Mode of Viva: Offline, In-Person
• Medium of Viva: Typically English 
• Viva Duration: 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the number of interviewers, subject complexity, candidate’s response, etc. 
• Total Marks: 30 

*Please Note: In case of large volumes of applications for the HPSC Assistant Professor Exam, there might be an additional screening test before the subject knowledge test. This screening test typically involves 50 MCQ questions to answer in 60 minutes.
