Primebook Warranty Policy


At Primebook, we take pride in delivering high-performance laptops and tablets designed to enhance your productivity and learning experience. Our products are crafted with quality and reliability in mind, and we are committed to ensuring that your purchase is backed by the warranty policy. 


Whether you are using our devices for education, business, or personal use, our warranty is tailored to provide you ongoing support.


  1. Warranty Coverage


This Limited Warranty applies to products sold or to be sold by Primebook from time to time to our customers and provides comprehensive coverage against any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. It is important to note that this warranty does not cover software applications, third-party products, or non-Primebook branded peripherals.


Primebook warrants its devices against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”). This warranty is provided exclusively to the original purchaser upon presentation of proof of purchase and is non-transferable.


  1. Conditions of Warranty Service

While Primebook aims to repair devices promptly, it does not guarantee any fixed time frame for repairs or replacements. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser as documented by a valid proof of purchase. In no event shall Primebook be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or personal inconvenience arising out of the use of the device. Primebook’s total liability, in any case, is limited to the purchase price of the device.


  1. How To Claim Your Warranty

To make the warranty process as smooth as possible, follow these simple steps:


  • Customer Support: Reach out to our dedicated support team via WhatsApp between 10 AM and 7 PM. Our support agents will guide you through the necessary troubleshooting steps to resolve any issues remotely.

  • On-site Collection: If the problem persists, we will arrange a hassle-free device pickup from your address subject to presentation of original invoice or digital invoice as the case may be. The pickup will be coordinated within 0-3 business days after generating the AWB (Airway Bill) with our logistics partner, however there may be delays considering the external factors that may be beyond the control of Primebook.

  • Repair or Replacement: Based on the nature of the issue, we will either repair your device or provide a replacement:

    • If your device experiences technical issues or manufacturing defects, we will repair it at no additional cost during the warranty period. Repairs will be carried out by authorized service personnel only. 

    • If a replacement is required, Primebook may, at its discretion, provide an equivalent device in refurbished or similar condition, which may or may not include packaging and accessories. 


  1. Turnaround Time (TAT)

We understand that timely service is essential for your productivity. The typical Turnaround Time (TAT) for device pickup is 0-3 business days, and after processing, a replacement or repaired device is usually delivered to your doorstep within 1-6 business days, depending on your location and external factors as may be beyond the control of Primebook.


  1. Exclusions

The warranty shall not cover the following situations:

  • Any unauthorized modification or repair by third parties not authorized by Primebook.

  • Damage due to accidents, negligence, misuse, physical damage (such as scratches, dents, or breakage), spillage of liquids, or exposure to extreme environments (temperature, humidity, dust).

  • Defects caused by power surges, lightning, or other "acts of God," or usage with non-compliant electrical voltages.

  • This warranty does not apply to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless the failure is due to a manufacturing defect.

  • Any tampering with the product's serial number or removal of identification labels will void the warranty.

  • Physical damage and visible wear-and-tear, or exposure to excessive moisture or dampness, or exposure to excessive temperatures.


  1. Discontinuation of Warranty

  • Expiry of Warranty: The warranty will automatically expire after 12 months from the date of purchase, even if the device has not been used during this period.

  • Non-operation During Warranty: The warranty remains valid only if the device has been regularly operated as per its guidelines. The warranty does not extend due to non-operation for any part of the 12-month period.


  1. Claim Limitations

Warranty service is only available within the geographic regions where Primebook devices are sold by authorized distributors. Primebook will bear the cost of picking up the faulty device during the warranty period. However, any additional shipping requests or expedited shipping services may incur additional charges to the customer.
